Keeping busy while waiting at the train station.
Sam went to find a snack for on the train and came back with these.....blue chips, they tasted just like normal plain chips.
It was afternoon by the time we arrived in Florence, it took us a while to find our car rental place as both the maps on my phone showed different locations of the rental office. It turned out to be in the middle of where the two maps were pointing us so we eventually found it and i survived my first attempt at driving on the 'wrong' side of the road, with a slightly questionable manouver around a roundabout while confused about which way to give way to, but with my foot to the floor we made it around without incident!!! After googling the actual rules for roundabouts here it seems that i may have done the norm which seems to be just get into the roundabout when you can see a gap to put your car into!!!
Our apartment here is lovely, the kids are wishing we were staying more than one night.
We then went into the city centre to see the sites, unfortunately nearly everywhere had ridiculously long queues so we only managed to get inside of the catherdral where i was told to cover my legs, hence the rather unattractive poncho, Malayah was ok as he said she was just a 'baby'
Isaac enjoying the Italian way of life......
